200ml almond milk
1 egg
1 scoop (25g) salted caramel protein powder (or any flavour you prefer)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp ground cinnamon
4 slices medium-sliced wholemeal bread
80g fresh mixed berries
1 tsp low-calorie chocolate syrup
Spray light oil for cooking
1. Whisk the almond milk, egg, protein powder, vanilla extract and cinnamon in a wide mixing bowl.
2. Dip each slice of the wholemeal bread in the mix, making sure you completely coat both sides in the eggy mixture.
3. Place a large frying pan over a medium heat and coat the base with spray light oil. Fry each slice of bread for around 3 minutes on each side until golden and crispy. (You may need to do this in batches if your pan isnβt big enough for all four slices at once.)
4. Scatter the berries over your French toast and drizzle with the chocolate syrup to serve.
